Certified Standards for E.coli

Samples formulated at 1000-2000CFU per pellet.

Use as a positive control for E.coli, Fecal Coliform and Total Coliform.  Certified by multiple methods including IDEXX Quantitray for E.coli, Total Coliform by SM 9222B and Fecal Coliform by SM 9222D.

Sample preparation is an easy 15 minute procedure.  Just hydrate a sample in 100mL of supplied sterile hydration fluid at room temperature.  Mix and analyze.

Each sample kit is supplied with 5 or 20 vials of hydration fluid.  Store E.coli sample in the freezer at -20^oC to -10^oC.

Certified Standards for Enterococcus

Quantitative Enterococcus Standard in 3 Ranges:
Low:  30-100 MPN/100mL    Mid:  100-200 MPN/100mL    High:  1000-1500 MPN/100mL

Pure cultures of Enterococcus work with all approved methods including Enterolert.  Easy to use, just hydrate each sample in 100mL of supplied sterile hydrate fluid and analyze.  Stable for at least one year after receipt.

GGA Concentrate Snips for BOD5

A box of 25 single-use snips, each containing 6 mL of Glucose: Glutamic acid solution (300 mg/L total). Just snip open the tube and pour contents directly into a 300 mL BOD bottle. Yields a 2% solution of GGA as per SM 5210B. We’ve sterilized the solution in the snip, it is sterile indefinitely at room temperature until opened.

Chlorine Check Standard Snips

The easiest way to QC your routine chlorine analysis. Our certified residual chlorine standard snips deliver the exact volume required without pipetting. To use, fill a flask or cuvette to about half the target final volume. Cut open a snip with a sharp pair of scissors. Pour the contents into the cuvette or flask. Bring to volume with reagent water. Available in 3 concentrations each for both colorimetric and amperometric titration methods. Packaged as 25 snips per pack.

Method 1664 Oil/Grease Surrogate Snips

Each snip contains 10 mL of Method 1664 required standard at 0.2% or 0.4% HEM individually packaged for stability and purity. Teflon tube packaging assures complete release of certified solution assuring accurate QA standard preparation. Packaged in 20 snips per box.
